The Engineering Technology department is excited to announce new and updated offerings. Whether you are looking for training and education to improve your employment skills in the local area, or are interested in getting started on an engineering degree, this is the place for you.
The Mechatronics program has been developed in conjunction with employers in Umatilla and Morrow Counties, and will prepare you to carry out maintenance and operations in a modern manufacturing facility. We have partnerships with food processors, electrical power suppliers, data center operators, and other production companies in and around Pendleton, Hermiston, and Boardman. If you are interested in an active, hands-on career and like to solve problems, this may be the program you are looking for. Visit the Mechatronics page for more information. You can also contact Jerry McMichael.
If you're interested in a career as an engineer, then you can get started at BMCC and take advantage of our smaller class size and easy access to faculty. We have course transfer agreements with many universities in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. We would love to talk with you and design a program that will help you achieve your goals. Visit the Engineering Transfer Program page for more information. Ann Marie Hardin would be happy to discuss engineering educational opportunities.
