Emergency Medical Technician Certificate
The EMT Certificate includes your EMT Basic and the first year of your Paramedic Associates Degree. Courses are offered at all BMCC locations. With this certificate you can transfer into any Oregon paramedic program second year. The EMT Basic program starts in Fall term, First Responder courses are offered various times throughout the academic year. See Continuing Education for the latest available courses. All EMT courses are in accordance with State of Oregon, EMS section OARs and ORSs.
Students seeking admission into a BMCC EMT-Basic or Intermediate course need to contact BMCC EMS Coordinator, Jennifer Bostwick. Note that EMT Basic is typically offered in Fall term.
