Bring your co-worker! Join a cohort!
In response to the requirements of No Child Left Behind, Blue Mountain Community College is offering a two-year track for students who want to continue working while earning their Education Assistant Certificate.
Stay close to home! Take the New Hybrid Classes!
Classes will meet with an instructor a total of four times during a term. The initial class will meet on the first Wednesday from 5-8pm on the BMCC Pendleton campus. Future class dates will be determined at this time by the instructor who will travel to Pendleton, Hermiston, or Milton-Freewater, depending on where students are located, to teach the three remaining classes. The remainder of the coursework will be completed through independent or online study. This is an opportunity to recruit your fellow Ed Assistants and form a group to help reinforce the learning process.
This Certificate will apply towards an Education Assistant Associate of Applied
Science degree.
