Our Services
BMCC's services to students with disabilities gives access to and equalization of educational opportunities on a college-wide basis. Students can request services at anytime but must register with Admissions and Advising (see contact information above) to receive accommodations. They are expected to provide appropriate documentation of their disabilities. All assistance is arranged on an individual basis. Disabilities commonly include hard of hearing, low vision, mobility impairments and learning disabilities, attention disorders and psychological disabilities.
How to Request Services
In order to request services, BMCC students with disabilities must submit disability documentation in a closed envelope to the Service Center, Morrow Hall, in care of Disability Services. The Disability Services Team will then contact the student and make an appointment to discuss eligible accommodations. See the Disability Documentation Requirements. Each request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Students not at the Pendleton campus may fax this documentation to (541) 278-5871 or take the documentation to the nearest center to be forwarded.
