Opt-In Method:
Students opt in to receive SMS messages during the application and enrollment process through Blue Mountain Community College’s secure Student Information System (SIS). During application or portal setup, students are presented with a notification preferences page that includes SMS messaging.
Consent Disclosure Shown to Users:
“By enabling SMS notifications, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Blue Mountain Community College regarding academic and administrative notifications such as registration availability, waitlist status changes, account alerts, and secure message notifications.
