Immunization Requirements

In accordance with the the Oregon Health Authority Health and OAR 333-050-0140, community college students involved in clinical experiences in allied health programs, practicum experiences in education and child care programs and membership on intercollegiate sports teams must have two doses of measles prior to each student’s participation. This requirement applies only to those students born on or after January 1, 1957.

Students, as identified above, will be required to complete and return the Department of Human Services (DHS) Oregon Certificate of Immunization Status for Colleges & Universities form.

Claim a Nonmedical Exemption

If you will be claiming the nonmedical exemption, be sure to complete the College Students – College Measles Module and College Vaccine Education Certificate.  The completed certificate can be emailed to studentrecords@bluecc.edu 

  • Students will not be allowed to participate in their respective sport, clinical or practicum experience until the appropriate immunization form has been completed and returned to the Office of the Registrar/Enrollment Services.
