Blue Mountain Community College’s Community Education Program is inviting community members to share their skills, hobbies, and passions by leading non-credit workshops designed to enrich and benefit learners across the region.
Whether your talent lies in fitness, creative writing, arts and crafts, technology, health, business, or another area, BMCC offers an opportunity to teach in a supportive, engaging environment—no teaching degree required. These non-credit classes are about learning for the joy of it: no tests, no grades, just community-driven learning and connection.
“In every town, there are people with incredible knowledge and stories worth sharing,” said Arnaud Prevot, Executive Director of Community Education at BMCC. “Community Education gives those individuals a platform to inspire, empower, and connect with others—all while doing something they love.”
Instructors are paid an hourly stipend and supported by BMCC staff through the planning and promotion process. Workshops can be one-time sessions or multi-week courses, and BMCC welcomes proposals year-round.
