PENDELTON, OR – The Blue Mountain Community College Foundation has announced that the second cycle of scholarship awarding for the 2023-2024 academic year has been completed. To date, 148 Foundation scholarships totaling over $275,000.00 have been awarded. These scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and need, helping students pay for tuition and other educational expenses at Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC).
Each of the men and women awarded demonstrates intelligence, leadership, and motivation. They are forward-thinking problem solvers. They are positively engaged in community service and are active in extracurricular activities. Most notably, they have a true passion for using their knowledge, skills, and talents to make a tangible and positive difference in the world around them. We believe each of these students will advance at BMCC and go on to achieve great things.
It is an honor for us to invest in these students along with the many others, including family, friends, and educators, who have also supported them as they pursue their goals. We extend our best wishes to each one as they embark on or continue their BMCC experience. “No matter where in the world a Timberwolf goes, they will always be a member of the BMCC family.”
The BMCC Foundation raises scholarship and emergency assistance funds every year to ensure students have access to education as they pursue their careers. We are grateful to the many donors who made it possible to award over $275,000. in scholarships in the 2023-2024 academic year.
