Description:

The Eastern Oregon Forum returns with a new season focused on Livability — exploring how our communities can grow stronger and more sustainable through collaboration, connection, and shared understanding.

This first discussion, Emergency Response, features Chief Anthony Pierotti (City of Pendleton Fire and Ambulance), Chief Scott Stanton (Umatilla County Fire District #1), and Chief Dave Baty (East Umatilla Fire & Rescue). With decades of combined service, these leaders will discuss the rise in emergency calls across Eastern Oregon and how limited staffing and resources are impacting responders and residents alike.

Join us for a conversation about what it takes to maintain community safety and resilience in the face of growing demands.

This event is free and open to the public.

Presented By:

The Eastern Oregon Forum, a collaboration between Blue Mountain Community College, the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Kathryn Brown, and Harriet Isom, former U.S. ambassador.
