Start your educational goals here by completing your Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree, with an emphasis on discipline of study, to teach at the high school level. For instance, history buffs can complete our classes in history to make yourself more eligible for teaching history as a teacher. Or, if math is your ticket, take a series of math courses at BMCC to prepare you as a math teacher.  After completing your degree at BMCC, transfer to an Oregon university of your choice and enter as a junior into your preferred subject, such as history or math.

The degree also includes courses related to the education field. Students should work closely with the Director of Education to select appropriate courses for an efficient transfer process.
