First in Your Family, Not the Last.

From figuring it out to leading the way — that’s TRIO.

At BMCC, TRIO SSS is here to make sure you don’t do college alone. Since 2021, we’ve been helping students build confidence, stay on track, and graduate strong.

Whether you’re brand new, transferring in, or already on your way, TRIO has your back every step of the journey.

What you’ll get with TRIO!

Think of TRIO as your behind-the-scenes support team. Here’s what you’ll have at your side:

  • Academic Advising & Planning – help with classes, majors, transfer, and even grad school prep.

  • Peer Tutoring & Skill Support – math, writing, science, and study skills—no judgment, just support.

  • Private TRIO Study Lab – Wi-Fi, printers, laptops, and a quiet space to focus.

  • Career & Transfer Prep – workshops, campus visits, and guidance for what comes next.

  • Financial Aid Help – FAFSA, scholarships, grant aid, and money management workshops.

  • Cultural & Community Events – trips, activities, and a chance to connect with your Pack.

Why it matters?

TRIO students finish strong, transfer further, and lead boldly—because we do college together.
