Help Set the Table-- Volunteer at the Community Turkey Dinner

Because the table doesn’t set itself.

This homestyle, heartwarming event is made possible by volunteers like you! From prepping pie to hanging lights, every task brings us closer to creating a dinner filled with warmth, connection, and community spirit.

Whether you’ve got an hour or the whole evening, there’s a spot for you on the team.

Ways to Help

Kitchen Prep (Week of the Event)

Join Katie, Niki, and the ASG Officers in the kitchen before the big day. Help chop, mix, and prepare ingredients behind the scenes. This is where the meal starts—with you.

Setup & Décor (Days Before the Dinner)

Lend your eye for detail and your creative hands! Volunteers will decorate, assemble table settings, and create the cozy, welcoming vibe our guests will remember.

Day-of Setup (Afternoon, Nov. 20)

Come early and help us transform the Student Union into a warm, inviting gathering space.

Food Service (During the Event: 5–7 PM)

Serve smiles and plates! Volunteers will help with plating, serving, and ensuring guests feel welcome throughout the evening.

Meal Delivery (During the Event: 5–7 PM)

Partnering with Pendleton High School teachers and students, we’re delivering meals to community members who can’t attend. A warm meal and friendly face go a long way.

Clean-Up Crew (Starting at 7 PM)

Wrap up the night with us by helping clean and reset the space. Many hands make light (and quick) work!

Thank You, To Our Good Neighbors!
